- Direct Open
- Direct Bypass
- Direct Closed
Compatible with the Gen 1 Cooling Unit, but must be used with the Gen 2 Mouthpiece.
A must have to fully explore all the airflow options.
Necessity for those of us with big kid lungs
Top notch quality and design like everything else from Mad Heaters.
I acquired this because I wanted the complete Revolve Gen 2 package... but if you're not taking advantage of all the cooling available why are you using a Revolve?
Who doesn't want yet more airflow options for the revolve? Well worth adding to the collection despite only using it occasionally.
I bought the Revolve Gen2 with the Direct Airlow Tube and what can i say. Amazing! I tested a lot dynavaps, but the taste, the cooling, funktionallity, everything is much better with the Mad Heater Revolve gen2. We just need an Mad Tip now:)
Thank you for your great work!
The direct Airflow tube give u more settings not like the Revolve doesn't have enough already lol u just have that many more.

Awesome tool!
Nice alternative
The Direct airflow tube is essential for having all the Revolve airflow settings possible, it should be included with a Revolve purchase and not as a separate accessory.
I'm not a fan of the secondary cooling unit with the DRC air-path, it's too much cooling, I don't need it and the flavor start to suffer.
However, I'm a big fan of the secondary cooling unit with the Direct air-path. I feel a similar flavor/vapor temp experience as a SC Vort.x with a high flow interc..ler.
Also, I prefer the Direct airflow tube (with or without the secondary cooling unit) for glass pieces use.
Compatibility V1-V2 parts:
-V2 Cooling unit only accept V2 MP with V2 airflow tube
-V1 Cooling unit can accept V2 MP with V2 airflow tube
-the version of MP and airflow tube has to be paired together, V1+V1 V2+V2
-secondary cooling unit need a V2 airflow tube, so a V2 MP too
-V2 reclaim screen filter can clip and stay in place only into the V2 Cooling unit
-sleeve fit both versions
for Revolve V1 owners:
You have to buy the V2 MouthPiece if you want to use any V2 airflow tube and V2 secondary cooling unit.
I recommend it for your Revolve V1 if:
you want to keep your V1 and buy a Revolve V2.
you can't afford a V2, you always set your DRC to MTL and you like a tight draw, get a V2 MP and the V2 DRC airflow tube.
you can't afford a V2, you want the maximum cooling possible with the combo V2 MP, DRC tube and secondary cooling unit.
IMO it works, yes, but it's not for me, the flavor is too much muted.
you want to keep your V1, you like the Direct airflow tube and want to try the V2 secondary cooling unit upgrade. That's what I have done for my V1.
V2 MP + V2 DirectTube + V2 SCU with a wood sleeve (but I also have a Revolve V2 for DRC use).
you can't stand anymore the O-ring often sliding with the MP and miserably falling, when you pull the V1 MouthPiece in spinning mode.
Other than these use cases, I don't think it's worth to upgrade your V1, you are cover with the V1 as it is, or , simply grab the V2 to get all the features.
Since I can't upload a review on the DRC airflow tube product page, I will do it there.
Revolve V2 Draw Resistance Control airflow tube review:
This piece (come as the stock configuration) is what makes possible two things:
first, the air-path works now the opposite way of a DynaV stem air-path, second, you can adjust the draw air pressure.
The V2 DRC tube has two airflow slots, one large for RDL and a new one, small for MTL.
Like the V1, the Secondary DRC Indicator near the end of the tube help to adjust the draw with the Mouthpiece on and your fingernail or the digger of a cap.
However, on the V2, there is a small arrow engraving on the side of the DRC tube, combined with the new lines of the V2 Cooling unit, it makes the adjustment for MTL draw much easier.
