For 12mm diameter devices, storage or cleaning tube

For the little story, it was the packaging for the Revolve V1V2 stem, inside the cardboard tube.
Does fit any 12 mm diameter (RevolveV1V2) 110mm length (XL size) Dynavap full assembly.
With a stem alone, there is even some place to add spare O-rings in a small zip bag.

As a storage tube, I use some cotton inside to avoid any DynaCap dent or excessive rattle.

Tempest largest diameter is 14mm at the widest part of the Heatshield (like a Dyna Vong), so not 12mm ø compatible.
A full Tempest with a 12mm ø sleeve (Revolve V1V2 ti or quartz) fit MP inserted first, but it's a bit tight there.
Best combo would be a 62mm length (M size) stem with the Tempest heater.

As a case for after using the vaporizer, it's not worth it to wait for the Tempest heater to cool down to put it there, maybe only as a waterproof protection.
Other than that, the Leather case or metal options are always better suited to serve as an EDC case.

As a cleaning tube, it's airtight, so it works great without the Tempest Cap and the Heatshield from the titanium sleeve.

I put the airflow tube without MP, Cooling unit, stem without Heatshield and Bowl still assembled together in the Revolve plastic tube with some ISO.
Then, a full disassembly, warm water with dish soap, rinse, and dry.
I recommend as a cleaning accessory to get a pack of nylon brushes for eye make up, there are nice and cheap for cleaning condensers/tubes smaller than a standard Q-tip size.

I prefer to not soak in ISO the Tempest Cap, as it needs to be dry quickly after getting wet, click discs or even the VI coil could potentially flash rusting otherwise.

For the Tempest Cap, eventually with heavy use or when new, I take apart the BR screen, balls, Induction sleeve and the VI housing by unscrewing the flat screw.
Soak everything separately, except the VI housing with the temp indicators inside.
Taking apart the BR screen and the balls are optional, for a deep clean or before changing the type of ball media.

I would only soak the complete Cap assembly as a last resort, if I spot some gunk/debris inside the VI housing for example.
It's possible, but tricky to replace the temp indicators, so better to protect them for the long run.

Dry the Cap with a slow Tempest heat cycle, and don't let it in a high humidity air environment for long-term storage.
For long-term storage, I use a Vitamin C effervescent tablet plastic tube, with some desiccant salt inside the lid, to store all my Tempest small spare parts.

The perfect iso-bathpool.

As i said in the title, this is perfect to "iso-bath" your vap-cap, screens, dab tool... you name it. Also works great as storage for capsules, joints (long ones, lol), dry herbs, etc. If you have several vapcaps, you can use these tubes to store them after cleaning, so they will remain "fresh and shinny" till the next time you'll need them. Trust me, just throw a couple of them into your shopping cart before you check out... you won't regret for it.

Smell proof and very useful

I keep my ready loaded vapes tip end up and empty ones tip down so it's easy to see what needs reloading and what's ready to go.

Long lasting, Very Good!

These are great tubes. They last a long time and never leak or anything.
I use a couple of them in a test tube holder to give my pipes an isopropyl bath.
