This screen is in Stainless Steel mesh, with a 10mm diameter.
Tempest Bowl has two positions for the screen, for full or half load capacity.
It's easy to adjust the screen to the two positions.
For adjustment/replacement, use the small debowler/flat screwdriver tool included with the Leather case, or the Reload V2 debowler rod.
This mesh screen doesn't like a fine grind, it lets small bits go through the stem, but it takes more use to get clogged.
I prefer to only have condensate oils in my stem, so a 10mm diameter, 100# SS mesh screen works better for me.
For trad ha.h use, I like a 15mm diameter screen squeezed into a basket screen, as I can manage the basket screen depth easier.
The Tempest heater is a convection heater, so the screen doesn't get as hot as hybrid/conduction vaporizers.
With the full bowl screen position, the air stream tends to create a mix of botanical bits and trichomes on the edge of the screen, where there is less heat.
A brush every five loads or an empty bowl heat cycle will manage that.
Bowl's screens can't be used as a Ball Retaining screen substitute, too small and not safe.
