Not compatible with Revolve Airflow Tubes.
A new titanium Mouthpiece design, with a POM/Delrin bearing press fit inside.
The plastic bearing avoids any metal to metal friction, as a stopper, when using the Mouthpiece spinning function.
The Mouthpiece can be used as a 10mm WPA, but some glass joints are grounded glass, and will leave markings on the titanium MP.
Mad Heaters sell a 10mm to 14mm glass water pipe adapter, with a polished finish.
I recommend keeping the Tempest/Revolve stem as a native stem, and just connect the Tempest Head to a dedicated WPA stem.
In spinning MP mode, the user can create with his lips when pulling towards him, a micro/tiny air leak (very hard to notice) from the bearing and Cooling Unit connection.
In locked MP mode, the O-ring on the Airflow tube avoids that completely.
To be able to use the Secondary Cooling Unit (intercooler) in locked MP mode, the Airflow tube needs two small size O-rings (can be found with the spare parts bag included with Tempest Kit).
One will keep the SCU in place, and the other one has to be placed on the Airflow tube groove.
The POM bearing could melt if the user inserted it by mistake into an Induction Heater.
I already have used over the years black POM plastics parts, like the OG Vapman MP for example.
I recommend not soaking POM in warm ISO more than a few seconds, to avoid any discoloration.
Anyway, the Tempest Mouthpiece doesn't get coated with reclaim, some dish soap and water is enough, the Airflow tube gets the condensate vapor.
As a RevolveV1V2 stem owner, I prefer the version 2 Mouthpiece better, but nothing deal breaker with this version 3.
Tempest stem is a Revolve V3, here the compatibility chart:
First, the version of Mouthpiece and Airflow tube has to be paired together V1 MP + V1 Airflow tube V2+V2 V3+V3
-V3 Cooling unit only accept V3 and V2 Mouthpiece and Airflow tube
-V2 Cooling unit only accept V2 and V3
-V1 Cooling unit only accept V1 and V2
Secondary Cooling Unit needs a V2 or a V3 airflow tube
V2 Reclaim Screen Filter can clip and stay in place only into the V2 Cooling unit
All Tempest/Revolve sleeves fits all Cooling unit versions
Had to replace this part because of a mistake I made. Very fast shipping to Canada and received a few extra interior plastic pieces as well.
Got a spare mouthpiece..
Tempest, paired with a Reload is the best no battery device on the market for me 😀
This is one of the orders made, everything always perfectly correct and even some freebies, I got the black mouthpiece, for my other Tempest, I recommend this shop to everyone.
Bought as a replacement for my original one, which I accidentally put upside down in the wand and melted the interior of the mouthpiece (a mistake I intend to make only once!)
Exact replacement, brushed titanium, spins perfectly, delivered quickly. Thanks Mad Heaters!
