Induction sleeve, the only part to heat

Made from Stainless Steel, this Induction sleeve is the heat receptor and the airflow controller for the Tempest heater.
The sleeve is a thin cylinder, it can be slightly bent to make the airflow from the Tempest heater stiffer to adjust.

For adjustment/replacement, use the small debowler/ flat screwdriver tool included with the leather case, or the Reload V2 debowler rod.
Be careful to not lose the little screw or the VI housing, those parts are all magnetic.

The airflow from the Cap is useful for creating restriction, to help the user control his draw strength, essential for any convection vaporizer.
It can also compensate for the dry/water piece airflow restriction.

The color of the Induction sleeve will change with heat/use, as well as the Visual Indicator housing.
IH use and regular Iso Q-tip swabs will better control this color heat patina, avoid torching, glowing red, touching directly with fingers and any debris or oils...

The space between the two lines is the perfect spot for single flame torch heating.
Spin slowly enough to see the VI Pointer moving, and keep the outer lighter blue part of the flame a few millimeters away from touching the Ind sleeve.

Heating the Induction sleeve a bit closer to the bowl will induce a late thermal lag from the temp indicators. Stop heating earlier.
Heating the Induction sleeve a bit closer to the airflow on the Cap will induce an early thermal lag from the temp indicators. Stop heating later.

With Induction Heaters or torch use, the Induction sleeve is the only part that is needed to be heated, height placement is important.

Heating directly (torch or IH) the VI housing will damage your temp indicators forever.

When storing a spare Induction sleeve, put it in a container, to avoid deforming this thin cylindrical shape custom part.
For long-term storage, I use a Vitamin C effervescent tablet plastic tube, with some desiccant salt inside the lid, to store all my Tempest small spare parts.
