This small custom flat head screw keeps the VI housing, the Induction sleeve and the Cap together.
It goes through the perforated click discs and the VI pointer.
For disassembling the VI housing from the Cap, use the small debowler/flat screwdriver tool included with the Leather case, or the Reload V2 debowler rod.
Be careful to not lose the little screw or the VI housing, those parts are all magnetic.
I screw it until it gets a good connection, but not over-tighten.
When I want to clean/soak the Cap (every month, weekly Q-tip swab), I don't soak the VI housing; it's a last resort, in case there is dirt inside the temperature indicators.
