5pcs Stainless Steel Mesh for Revolve Gen 2.
Not compatible with Gen 1.
These screens are really good, they work really well, those holes are amazingly tiny and they're so well cut given the size of them...
I do prefer this over the gen1 screens, these are held securely and I haven't had one issue with the screens or mount on the cooling unit since I got the gen 2 at its release.
As well as looking the part they function well, clip in exactly as they should, they stay put, and if you do put a screen in a bowl before cleaning, they really do give the bowl a wee 'turbo' to your session.
I know the quality control/standards of mad heaters is high, I know they want fresh, clean and well made products but I was slightly taken aback at how well these screens are made.
Makes me think that if this much effort goes into a small part like this - which to a degree isn't even necessary to use the revolve, how much thought goes into the bigger more expensive devices they make.
The saying 'don't sweat the small stuff' clearly doesn't apply to Mad heaters...
The fact I've written a review for 'a screen' says it all....
Functionally you don't need one but it means cleaning is needed less often and reclaim is easy to collect so it's well worth it. Just a shame you can't use this improved design in the V1.
Nice meshes to keep the revolve clean longer and get extra high with the amount of reclaim they get.
It’s nice to have some spare parts!
If you use the filter on Revolve V2 it's mandatory (and cheap) to get them.
Swift delivery. Excellent filter for Gen 2, much easier to clean and maintain. Madheaters do the best customer service ever, got some little freebies with my order . Can’t recommend there product highly enough, just read any reviews and you get the idea, 5*++++
All the Mad Heaters products are great and this is no different.
You get 3 pieces with a Revolve V2 stem. I like to have more on hands.
On the Revolve V1, you have to use the airflow tube and secure them on the sleeve.
On the Revolve V2, this feature is well executed. Now, it clip and stay at the end of the Cooling Unit.
It filter plants particles well and you get a pure oily reclaim inside the stem, if you tend to let the stem get a lot of vapor condensate.
Depending of the material use and it's grind size, the reclaim filter screen can get clog fast.
When I'm lazy, I just change the filter and put the other type of airflow tube before the stem get a deep clean.
I have a small silicone container to put the dirty mesh filter.
It cleans well in an ISO bath, but before that, I like to put it in a bowl and vaporize it.
Taste is not the best, but clouds and the rest is there.
Since a few years, I rarely use Dyna CCD and prefer to cut my Stainless Steel screens myself, using SS mesh for e-cig.
I recommend 100# mesh for a Dyna tip screen, 200# also works, but clogs faster.
With my own screen on the tip and the filter of the Revolve 2, I simply get pure red oil reclaim.
Unfortunately, the V2 filter screen only works on the V2 stem.
On the V1 screen, you have to use the airflow tube and secure them on the sleeve.
It is too small to stay on the sleeve, and the V1 Cooling Unit doesn't have the Reclaim Filter Posts.
Great little filters to help prolong time between cleaning. They 'snap' onto the revolve and stay put.
