Tempest Radiator Sleeve

The new Tempest/Revolve V3 titanium sleeve now has two parts, the Radiator sleeve and a Heatshield.
An O-ring and a notch keeps them together, there is only one way to connect them.
A tiny play can be felt, when moving on purpose the stem and the heatshield in opposite directions, but I can't notice when using the device.

Tempest finishing isn't as polished as the Revolve V2, the edges are sharper and give a better grip, but nothing harmful for the fingers.
Looks are subjective, but the futuristic/industrial/light saber style can't be ignored.
   
Between all Mad Heaters ti sleeve versions, this titanium sleeve is my favorite.
With Revolve V1V2, my sleeve of choice is always the wood or quartz sleeve, but the Heatshield on the V3 changes that.
With Wand use, the ti sleeve stays comfortable near the airflow hole and produces a bit less reclaim than the quartz.
I also like the bowl locking tabs function on the titanium sleeve, useful when the Bowl O-rings get older.

Torch users need the wood sleeve for consecutive heating, longer sessions, mainly for a comfortable hand position, when slowly spinning the device.
However, if you just go for one quick bowl, then a break, the ti sleeve will be enough and handle the heat.
Titanium cools quickly, a two minutes cooling time, with the Tempest Cap separated from the rest, is also very effective.

If the user draws too much hot air from the heater, the sleeve will get unnecessarily hotter, without an increased vapor production.
For users new to the Revolve stem, a 12mm quartz sleeve is also nice when discovering all the airflow settings.

Tempest/Revolve stem is all about cooling and airflow balance, an experienced user can switch settings for small and short tokes or big and longer draws at different vapor temp.
Vapor cooling, airflow, flavor, stem temperature, and cleaning frequency also change depending on the stem settings.

To fit the MH plastic tube (for cleaning), the Heatshield has to be taken off.
