After ordering the Tempest head (only), wand adapter and a Reload 2, I asked the customer service email about the (in my mind 0%) chance of there being a wood stem in any color combo. The Force was with me that day and I was blessed with the chance to upgrade to a rosewood and black factory 2nd. The Tempest met and exceeded all of my expectations, and is worth all of the hype and praise. Paired with a wand and the Reload, this thing rips incredible clouds from tiny amounts of material and is a joy to use once you get your process down. That alone would be worth the 5 stars, but it's also a beautiful and clearly well designed piece which I can't stop thinking of as my "lightsaber". Elegant, supremely functional, a plethora of ways modify your experience and the best time I've had smoking since I started.
Customer service was phenomenal to work with and modify my order some (ordered a blue Reload originally but black really does look incredible with the rosewood).
I could go on and on, but really - just get one when you get the chance!
I got my Tempest on the September 2024 launch, and I've been using it as my main device ever since. If you are coming from a Dynavap this is going to be a big upgrade!
There are a lot of different options to tweak the airflow, so you will be able to get your preferred draw style. You can also set up mouth to lung or direct to lung with a twist of the mouthpiece
I've been using mine with direct mouthpiece, and it can pump out some massive clouds on a glass piece, or take your time and puff away like a joint.
And in top of all this you can change the balls to give a different experience. Sic and rubies are my favourite.
I've got a few butane vapes, and this is by far my best one. I don't see myself buying anything else now
This is perfect if:
- you like the wood look
- you have sensitive fingertips( this keeps much cooler
- you like to chain bowls and still need to hold your tempest
Keep it oiled and it really starts to shine
I was very lucky to score a Factory Second Tempest. There is just a little damage to the glass stem (still usable), but the rest is absolutely perfect.
I got into mechanical vapes in December, and VAS kicked in hard. I bought a lot of vapes, but the Tempest is hands down the best of all the devices I’ve tried (including several Dynas, TM2, Mighty, and Graveda BallVape).
I received it with borosilicate, stainless steel, and the stock balls, along with a glass and a wood stem, plus some spare O-rings and screens. That’s insane—most other companies make you buy these as accessories!
The taste and punch of this vape are incredibly strong, yet the vapor is still smooth and easy to take. Absolutely amazing.
Thank you, MadHeaters, for this awesome device! I’ll definitely grab another unit on the next drop.
decided to order a black Tempest in Wood (Ebony/Rosewood sleeve) to save some $. I can't thank Brenyo/MHs enough for getting the Tempest to me by my bday in September. Brenyo made sure that I received the package well before my birthday. I ordered every ball media in 2.5mm that was available at the time of purchase. Which also included the wand stand. A Reload in blue was also ordered. Once the package was shipped, it came incredibly quick from UK to CA. It was only 9 days in total. 4 of those days were spent being held in customs. Iwasincompleteshockandawe when I loaded up the Tempest at half bowl position and was effortlessly getting really tasty/terpy, big, voluptuous clouds using the wand with the included glass insert. After about 30 hits, I was starting to dial in my technique with the wand/Tempest.
It immediately shelved all of DVs and its even shelved my ball vapes for a solid 2 months. Around60hitsiniswhenIreallystartedgettingeverythingdialed in, wand depth, preferred airflow on the MP/stem/head using the stock zirconia balls. Thehitsarejustsounbelievablytasty, terpy, andcanbebeyondthick and go neck to neck with my actual ball vapes in cloud production.Again,Ican'tstateenoughhowgoodthisvapetasteandhits.When you pairitwiththeReload, it makes an INCREDIBLE ecosystem that makes the workflow and doing back to back bowls with the Tempest and absolute breeze. When you pair the Tempest with Reload, it makes for insanely low profile/small carrying footprint. I can fit my wand, Tempest, Reload, pair of batteries/torch and a jar of weed in small bag, maybe 2 and half inches wide and 6 inches long, then throw that little bag in smaller sized sling bag and have EVERYTHING I need to get as medicated or obliterated on the go wherever and whenever I please. This vape has truly been a game changer for me as I'm constantly going in and out of the hospital from my wife having severe terminal illness(es). In the past I was bringing 2 DVs and a wand. It was taking me a solid 20-30 minutes to get where I wanted to be, while trying to be as fast and efficient as possible so I could get back to visiting my wife. in the hospital. WiththeTempest,IamabletogetIMMENSELYmedicatedandhigh inacouple ofbowlsdepending on how hard/much I pack them. MyresultshavebeenthatI'mabletogetbeyond medicated/high in the span of 5-10 minutes. This has been a huge positive in my life. Afteronlyowningthe Tempest in wood for a week and half, I decided that I lovedthehit from the Tempest head so much I decided to have my mom order me a 2nd Tempest head in Lime Green for my birthday as well as a 2nd Revolve Gen 2 in Black for my birthday. I hit up Brenyo and let him know what was going on anhe was more then willing and nice enough to give me a discount on the RG2. Your customer service is the absolute best in the game. Being able to email you or send you a PM on FCombustion.com was an absolute treat. There was multiple times I hit up Brenyo asking if I should grab this or that piece. Not ONCE did he EVER try to upsell me on products, in fact. He did the opposite which blew my mind. He actually helped me save money and decide on what product(s) would be best for me.
I can't thank him and his hands down AMAZING customer service. Not to mention all of the free things he shot my way. I got 3 glass sleeves for free, a black DRC for free, a Silver MP for free, soooo many free items....!!! It felt like Christmas in September!
What a truly amazing birthday gift to myself.
If anybody is on the fence about grabbing a Tempest head without a RG@ or Tempest CU, don't trip. Go ahead and buy the head if you have a collection of DV stems, especially wood stems. One of my favorite ways to hit the Tempest is on my Ti and wood MVS stems. It's a really fun time. Also, throwing a head on a WPA is an amazing experience and half of the reason I bought a 2nd head! Its great having one on a stem and having one on the WPA as well as to start swapping out the ball media and compare and contrast the zirc to x, y, and z. I have severe OCD and love to write down and record every single hit.
I'm over #300+ hits in with my black Tempest head in wood. I've easily ran at least 1 ounce, probably 2 though it at this point. It's one of my favorite vapes that I've ever owned. The endless airflow configuration on the mouthpiece, the stem, AND the head airflow make the different setup possibilities absolutely endless and able to tailor to how you prefer to vape.
If you're on the fence and can't decide, JUST DO IT!!! You will absolutely not regret it. I would HIGHLY recommend grabbing a Reload to pair with it as to easily and nicely cool down, reload, and even store the Tempest on the Reload. I'll carry the Tempest around on the Reload through the house to the backyard. The magnet on it is really strong. Its also hands down the best tool to use with a DV if you don't already own on.
Thank you more than words can ever explain for this vape and reload combo, Brenyo <3 You're the m...
Tempest Wood
Quality of product and performance is stellar, I have not touched another vaporizer since this arrived. Since dialing in the induction heater I can extract any size bowl in one cycle. This works for both small sprinkles or fully (lightly) tamped packs.
Utilizing the reload along with the tempest keeps literally everything I need compact and portable.
Since this turned up a couple of weeks ago I have used nothing else, everyone is banging on about using the wand but I am using a butane torch. It hits like a truck. All my dynavaps are gathering dust, I love this thing.
Everything including the leather sleeve is wonderfully crafted. I am very happy to be able to purchase my first Tempest Wood. Looking forward to the next batch
I recently picked up a tempest with a wood sleeve and I absolutely love it. Its like the power of a ball vape in the palm of your hand. Stem does an amazing job cooling the vapor and there is no heat in it even after a few bowls. The stock beads hold so much heat and are great for longer seshes but can still put out some ball vape level clouds. I switched to the glass beads as I like a quicker extraction and it works very well, true one hit extraction in one massive tasty rip.
