Tempest 2 Slim

The best budget vaporizer on the market right now. I tried over 20 battery and analog vapes. Including tempests, tornado, anvil, simrells, tm2, solo 3, taffee Flaske. This one can compete with the top vapes in the market for a fraction of the price.

The titanium version feels lightweight, taste great. Hits hard but has slightly more of a head high. Heatup time is fast (33 seconds in my yll 3.0 with titanium heater core). This is a tempest 2 in a other form factor for a great price.

I do not regret buying this. I'm 50 and have used medicinal cannabis for 35 years off and on. It's admittedly the 1st time I've used a ball vape and I did lot's of research before turning to Madguru....sorry, Madheaters.....thinking about Maha Dev and Radharani for a moment there. Essentially I've experienced the tastiest terps ever in my life.....really amazed at the spectrum possibilities with this thing. Somehow the stainless steel seems to bring immense purity and clarity of taste....it's really a Maha Ras ! Also, being 10mm, it fits in non-glass bongs which is really useful, although I am buying a mega-cylinder bubbler and whip etc. Using the device alone for extended periods feels overly drying to the body, so I want some water involved some of the time.

Definitely needed to be patient and work with the learning curve on this device and that patience paid off, using the YLL 3.0. After a week or so, I've still not changed from the crystal balls as the flavours are so wonderful and I'm still experimenting with heating profiles and timings according to the various factors involved.

It's also really really interesting when the internal flower combusts and then experimenting as it's possible with draw strength modulation to hold the burn state on the edge of combustion and vapourisation and play around in that zone....really a very playful device Aum Namah Shivaya Jai jai Radha Ramana Hari Bol.

This is now my daily mobile vape. It offers the same quality of vapor production as the big brother. Consistently thick and flavorful clouds that completely extract a bowl within 6-8 hits on a fluffy bowl, and without the need to stir.
My vaping routine has become very efficient between the original Tempest 2 for Twaxing on a water piece at home, and Slimming some flowers"on the go.
One thing stands out to me is the obviously effective design of the Tempest concept. The only thing that the Slim can't do is readily fit on my water piece, but it certainly delivers the same satisfying clouds of delicious vapors as the big brother.
I have been giving away my other vaporizers to friends that's thinking about getting into vaping.

I've been a vape user exclusively (no smoking) for the past 15 years and own and have owned a multitude of devices through the years. I bought a Tempest 2 about a 6 months ago with a YLL heater and am so happy I did. Easily my favourite device of all of them. Was lucky enough to win one these Slim units and have noticed a few differences. I can't speak to the new small bowl size because I jam as much green in my device as possible.

After having used the new Slim for about 3 weeks, here's what i notice the most being a T2 regular user.
- the Slim device itself is well balanced in the hand and surprisingly weighty. Not heavy, weighty. It feels very nice but is slim for sure. Feels different in the hand than the regular T2.
- the sleeve in the middle trips me out because it looks so small compared to the regular T2 but my fingers fit nicely on it.
- the unit itself seems to stay as cool / get as hot as the regular T2 during my regular use.
- the ball holder / heater end and cooling stem are backwards compatible with the regular T2, case and revolve so you can use all the same parts.
- the slim is definitely better taste-wise. I'm a taste guy so I really noticed it. i would say like a 25% improvement in taste from the regular T2 in my testing.
- I feel like the airflow is better in the slim but that could be my imagination, I'm just not 100% sure.

Overall I'm really happy with the Slim. It's a nice complement to the regular T2. I will use both relatively equally but if I had to choose just one, I would probably take the Slim because I'm a taste guy and noticed the difference with the same strain between both devices. For the record though, i prefer the bulkier feel of the regular Tempest 2 in my hand so that's why I say they complement each other. Another winner from Mad Heaters, well done!

Ce tempest 2 slim en vaut vraiment la chandelle, de mon point de vue. Au vue de son prix qui m'étonne carrément, il est clair qu'il n'y a pas à réfléchir longtemps, des revisites de défauts majeures à la main depuis le T2, une refonte visuelle des plus classieuse et élégante, et surtout des saveurs et une versatilité qui est superbe, mad heaters à bien joué je trouve.
L'idée maintenant c'est que se passe t'il avec la sortie du Simrell ? Je dirais que simrell fait du très très chère pour un rendu qui ne sera peut-être même pas au rendez-vous, pour plus de 300$ selon un modèle économique des plus douteux. Le form factor entre simrell et T2S sont étonnamment ressemblants. Bref, je reste chez mad heaters.

I was already pleased with the performance my tempest 2 but with the tempest 2 slim I'm getting even thicker hits. Feels amazing in hand, the fit and finish are top notch as with all products from Mad. I've stuck a heater core in mine and with an induction heater I'm getting fantastic results

The new Tempest 2 Slim feels amazing to hold. It's perfectly balanced, and has a lot more weight to it than the standard T2. But the biggest change for me is having the 0.05g bowl setting. I've always been a huge fan of microdosing and squeezing the most out of each bowl, and this beast seems to tick every box in that regard.

I was lucky enough to win my T2 slim in a competition, and received it a couple of weeks before the official launch. It's been very challenging to keep quiet about it during that time :)
