Perfect item
So when I first saw this case I was very skeptical. It'd big. It serves a big part of the reloads purpose.
Then I've gotten it (as part of the bundle). The lid-heatsink is really great if you wanna do a couple bowl sesh. Helps cool down the head quickly.
Then I took my V2 bundle on my first travel. When I wanna hit a toke while moving, I feel like the reload is just added weight, if you have the case. Magnet is there for debowling. Some flower storage. I don't use the included self defense weapon for debowling, as I just blow the duff out on the floor while walking. Very very handy. The lid helps handling the hot tempest head to a point, where I've lost complete respect for it. In my past 4 weeks have used the tempest 1 bundle as my only source of consumption (to dial in the device 100%). I haven't burned myself a single time. I have dropped and tipped the tempest head countless times by either slapping or dropping the reload with the case heatsink lid on it and the tempest in it. Not trouble with getting stuff melted on the hot head, since it's enclosed.
Almost forgotten to mention. Your hot tempest is somehow stuck and you can't get the head to unscrew? The lid heatsink has 2 notches (like the underside of the reload does), that interlock with the 2 cutouts on the head.
The Tempest case is absolutely fantastic. The first thing that hits you is how good it looks — sleek, modern and premium without even trying. In the hand, it feels solid and beautifully made, with that perfect balance of weight and texture that lets you know it’s built to last.
My favourite feature by far is the magnetic lid. It makes tip removal effortless is honestly genius. No fiddling, no fighting — It’s one of those little quality of life touches you don’t realise you need until you have it!!!
Overall, the Tempest case elevates the whole experience. Stylish, sturdy and cleverly designed.
I absolutely love it. Thanks again Mad Heaters 🫡
I love mine. Makes putting a scorching hot T2 back in your pocket after use really safe and easy. The design is really nice - it remains to be seen how long term the rubber seals will last, but so far so good.
I have both a reload and a case, the reload is a staple of the scene and has been since forever. But the case is just more functional overall, it has most of the features of the reload, plus, it's a smell proof and heat proof case for the device itself and is less bulky than you'd think for actual carriage and usage.
I bought purple to match my pre existing purple devices and reload, and it colour-matches perfectly if that bothers you (me too!)
In practical usage, the herb storage pot holds about 5-7 full size bowls comfortably, the debowler is slightly less multi-tool in nature as it's not also a ball-screen-screwdriver like the reload debowler, it's quite big, but not heavy/bulky or cumbersome, and if I were to buy another Tempest2, I would certainly buy another matching case.
Shipped way faster than expected and build/design quality is exactly what's expected of MadHeaters.
My Tempest 2 fits perfectly within; no scratches thanks to the inside silicone. The case doesn’t roll on a table, is completely effective as a heat sink and stand after and between uses, not to mention the included de-bowler, disassembly tool and room for a user’s daily greens. In my pocket with the back to black colour: it meets my requirements.
Case has a nice finish and feels good to hold, overall I would say pretty much perfect for the use it's designed for!
I like all the features it has, with a with more modifications it could even be a mini-reload :)
I bought two as I liked the first so much. Realised this case would be ideal for bedside use, insomnia rampant so need simplicity. The smallest cap reversed becomes a stand that also heatsinks, then pop the T2 in the case when warmish, no problem.
Magic!
