Wasn’t sure whether to purchase this initially as I have the Wand and this has always worked well with the range of TEDs I use, including the T2. The YLL, however, is so fit for purpose and manages the T2 exceptionally well. 80 watts for 42 seconds with the 3mm rubies is perfect for that OHE. The build quality is excellent and no messing around with different adaptors. Do you need it if you have the Wand? Probably not, but I would say the YLL has been made with the T2 and other current devices in mind and will no doubt accommodate future innovations for some time. Highly recommend.

A definate upgrade from the wand.

My wand always annoyed me with it's battery sag. You could never really trust the battery meter and watching it go below the bottom always made me think I wasnt getting everything I should have been. The yll3 fixes that completely. The desktop mode is a really nice addition and works intuatively. The device simply asks if desktop mode is required when plugging it in. For the moment, for a light to medium roast 80w at 34 secs is a good place to start. I sometimes add another 5 to 10 secs of heat after a couple of draws depending on how it feel the session is going. It's great for other hot stick style vapes too so it's hightly recommended. Don't think about the Angus debacle when considering this item.

Powerful and Reliable

Ive been using my YLL 3.0 with my Tempest 1 and 2.
For the T2 cold start I set to 100wtts until 37seconds. The second click come right on the 37second too.
For my T1 I set it a bit less time 32 seconds.
The battery holds so many sessions easily more than 20 I could say.
